About Us Since 1978 Hartford Community Mental Health Center Inc. d.b.a. Hartford Behavioral Health (HBH) has served adults, children, and families affected by substance abuse and mental illness.
Individualized treatment, combined with best-practice principles, group therapy, family involvement and continuing care are the foundations of the programs, where men, women, families and children discover the tools necessary for lasting recovery.
HBH is a private, non-profit community agency providing outpatient and in-home behavioral health services to the greater Hartford community. We are a culturally diverse and dynamic organization that prides itself on clinical excellence; a commitment to the community we serve.
HBH is licenced by Department of Public Health and the Joint Commission Accredited with two sites covering both the north and south ends of the city of Hartford, HBH has embraced its community and neighbors to deliver its core behavioral healthcare services. It delivers outstanding care in child, adolescent and adult psychiatry.
